Flying Point's first team event — three days in the Swiss mountains, at the point when the firm was still assembling itself.
Flying Point held its first team event in Switzerland in October 2022.
The firm was young and most of the team was new, which is precisely why it was worth doing. Trust and a shared way of communicating are not things you install later; they are either built at the start or negotiated painfully for years afterwards.
Three days: a long hike through the mountains, a great deal of food and wine, and the first real sense that this was one team rather than a group of recent hires.
